A surname is not all that changes!
Hidden behind that sweet smile, is
a confident girl who misses her other side;
Happy being the perfect wife, she
takes the break happily in her stride.
From setting up her new place, to welcoming guests with a treat;
Red lipstick and stilettos make
her shine, the professional her takes a retreat.
Continuing to bring happiness, making even the surroundings complete;
Giggles and laughter you could
hear, yet the old she takes a backseat.
Compliments and love from her beloved comprise the daily dose of her encouragement;
Her looks and secondary talents,
unknown before are now counted as her big achievements.
Ask her if she is happy, she would reply in the affirmative;
A name for herself demands
separation, which she doesn't consider an alternative.
To think she could achieve perfect balance is a big delusion;
